Howard A. Liberman joined Silver Hadden Silver Wexler + Levine in 1997 after serving in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps of the United States Navy for five years as a defense attorney, prosecutor and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate (legal advisor) to a two-star Admiral. He currently holds the rank of Commander in the Navy Reserve.
At Silver Hadden Silver Wexler + Levine, Howard represents the firm’s clients in disciplinary matters, collective bargaining and enforcing the rights of public employees who serve in the military. He successfully litigated appeals of administrative discipline in both the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal on behalf of police officers and firefighters wrongly accused of misconduct. Howard also advises the Boards of Directors of safety and non-safety associations on a myriad of legal issues.
Howard is a graduate of Bloomsburg University (1989) and Temple University School of Law (J.D. 1992). He is a native of Scranton, Pennsylvania and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Howard resides in the West L.A. area with his wife and two young daughters.
